Objective
My professional objective is to find employment pertaining to media or marketing that allows me to utilise my education in a way which is fulfilling for me as an employee as well as advantageous for my employer.
As I am not currently eligible to work in the UK, I have outlined a distinct plan in order to achieve my aspirations of furthering my career in England. Having familiarised myself with the UK laws and requirements regarding work permits and immigration, I am willing to perform any superfluous work and compensate any fees pertaining to the acquisition of a work permit which may otherwise inconvenience my potential employer.

General Information
Throughout my years at university, I acquired knowledge and skills relevant to a career in media by supplementing required courses with individual study. My hobbies consisted mainly of reading extraneous academic journal publications, such as those found in The Journal of Popular Culture, as well as entire books pertaining to my area of study. My interest in my educational field, as well as in writing and journaling for my own enjoyment, has led to a talent and extreme appreciation for scholarly writing. My hobbies, and how I spend my free time, have changed only slightly since graduating from university. I find myself applying my knowledge of media and popular culture to my surroundings almost unconsciously, for example, to film and television advertisements. While at perhaps a more relaxed pace, I still make it a priority to at least be aware of new publications and studies in the fields of media and popular culture. In many cases, I find myself searching out new volumes pertaining to these fields not only to supplement my university education, but also out of genuine interest and enthusiasm for the content. In addition to establishing my professional career, I wish to attend The University of Birmingham in order to obtain a Master’s Degree in the field of cultural study beginning in September of 2008.
